Hederus’ spring summer line looks simple, yet established with a holy grandeur such that the wearer, can be said to be a “bad ass lookingmotherfucker” enough said, looking forwards to it. www.juliahederus.com

There are some things that look absolutely stunning - anything that ‘takes your breath away’, ’causes you to stare at a particular object for more than 5 seconds’, etc.
Then there are some things that are absolutely weird looking - things that you think will never work. Bowties with t-shirts, [...]

The Joker

If there is one villain I could say whose clothing sense is unquestionably praiseworthy, It’d be The Joker.
Everyone else just seems retarded.
According to the police officer in the movie, all clothings were ‘unlabelled’. That is, tailored/bespoke.
Damn, If there were a tailor nearby that used these fabrics and had cutting as perfect as this, let me [...]

MARTIN MARGIELA L’Incognito

fashion Comments (0)

Martin Margiela presents us his first line of sunglasses, the L’Incognito.

Appropriately titled - these sunglasses cover quite a bit of the face. Reminisce of those notorious censoring bars on TV prior to the modern techniques such as mosaic-ing the eyes of people who wanted to remain ‘incognito’. (I’m pretty much just looking for any way to theorise the origin of the name.)

A rather fresh concept, nothing like the venetian pair that Kanye West donned for quite some time, although these might reach that status. Let’s hope not. I have heard that these have been sold out at most vendor. Once again, let’s hope not.

For those who don’t know how to wear these, there is actually a bridge on the back where the nose usually sits. Therefore, you don’t have to summon tiny pixies to hold the lens up for you, although I assume that everyone can do that. Save your mana points for the final boss.

hoang has a pair of these.

I’m putting on my mugging gloves.

Don’t like it?

Alexander Solzhenitsyn

Uncategorized Comments (0)

As of last night, i was checking through the windows sidebar, looking through the random its of news until i came across Mr. Solzhenitsyn’s death. I immediately felt as if i was held back in highschool or if i had failed in life. 2 years earlier, I had stumbled upon a bunch of discarded books in highschool, with which my eyes came upon a book in blood red with the title, “One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich”. That one book itself, had made such an impact on my life so that there is no substituion for it, for i consider it a holy text. No phrase from the bible, or any other holy text made me feel as euphoric as did Solzhenitsyn’s words. I had earlier wanted to send Mr. Solzhenitsyn a letter regarding my love for his works of literature on how he made his characters convey such a holy sense of broherhood, even when degraded to the status of beasts, Solzhenitsyn’s characters always made me optimistic even in the most dire situations. For a reason, I had thought he had passed away in the 60’s, 70’s as most people of that period did. Therefore or another reason i did ot look him up, for i wanted to sen him a letter. Only till now, that I learn 4 days later that he just passed away, made me so angry, so ashamed at my incompetence for not looking him up earlier. Now that he is gone, that i realize this world’s loss, and our futile reach to appreciate this man. May you rest in peace, Alexander Solzhenitsyn.
